Nathalie chega a Manhattan
A libertina Emmanuelle Béart fez Nathalie (2003) mas em Nova Iorque só agora vão ver o filme por lá. Vi o seguinte artigo no NY Times sobre o filme:
French Star Power and Sex in Anne Fontaine's 'Nathalie'
Anne Fontaine's seductive film "Nathalie" is mostly about French star power and sex, so it's somewhat surprising that it is also subtle and intriguing. But then Fanny Ardant, Gérard Depardieu and Emmanuelle Béart make up the romantic triangle.
The plot is set in motion when Bernard (Mr. Depardieu) misses his surprise birthday party and Catherine (Ms. Ardant), his wife of 25 years, learns from a cellphone message that he was busy being unfaithful to her. No big deal, says Bernard, marital passion can't last forever. "One day it dies," he says with a shrug.
