See Superman Return!
Footage from Bryan Singer's Man of Steel movie now online
Some of you may be wondering where Empire's Comic-Con coverage is, given that we flew out there in July and saw a veritable feast of new movie clips and conducted tons of interviews with the likes of Bryan Singer, Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman, Jack Black, Darren Aronofsky, Mark Steven Johnson, Maggie Grace, Eva Mendes, Rachel Weisz, Joel Silver, and many, many more.
Well, it will be up on the site soon, in a very special form that we can't talk about right now. All will be revealed
In the meantime, some of the footage from Superman Returns that Bryan Singer flew especially to San Diego, all the way from Sydney, to unveil is now online in the latest, and possibly, greatest Superman video blog from the magnificent bluetights.net
Entitled 20 Hours To San Diego, the superbly edited video journal follows an increasingly frazzled Singer and his Super-writers, Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty on their journey from Sydney to San Diego, via Honolulu, and then Singer's interactions with the assembled hordes of geeks, during which he not only gets Superman's Kryptonian name wrong ("Kal-El sorry, did I say Jor-El?") but claims that the X-Men's Wolverine had only one claw. ("It was a long time ago!" he laughs). That jet-lag does strange things to a man.
